All-Israeli movement of scouts "Scopus" was founded in 1919 and today
it is one and only official national youth movements in Israel and the
most numerous as well. It does not refer to any political parties but
its activity is protected by law.
On these photos you may see how a summer camp of Scopus looks like.
5000 people simultaneously rest in the camp, if it can be called "rest",
of course. All days long the guys are building their camp - from roads
to warehouses. They come to an ordinary forest where in some days there
appears the whole city. Everything you see on the photos was made by the
guys themselves. "Learning through business" is one of the most
important scout rules.
