Snow storms in the US

Powerful winter storms in the U.S. follow one another from the very beginning of the year. Blizzard is a southern heavy, wet snow in the north-east, outlined drifts almost two feet in height. Due to bad weather U.S. airlines canceled thousands of flights, and freezing rain left dozens of residents of towns without electricity.
